The Blue Hill Coach Trail officially opened in Fall River on October 14, 2023. Led by SWEPS, the 1.6 km trail follows a historic route through Acadian old-growth forest and marks the first completed segment of the Riverlake Greenway.
The Blue Hill Coach Trail was featured during a provincial announcement for the Connect2 active transportation program. SWEPS highlighted the trail’s role in connecting Fall River communities and preserving a historic travel corridor.

SWEPS received funding from the Connect2 program and HRM to complete a trail link between Blue Hill Coach Trail and Canterberry Lane. The new connector supports active transportation and preserves part of the historic Cobequid Road.
