In response to high wildfire risk across Nova Scotia, travel and activities in the woods are restricted until October 15, 2025, or until conditions improve.

All trail systems in wooded areas are closed.
Hiking, camping, fishing, and vehicle use in the woods are prohibited.
Camping is only allowed in designated campgrounds.

These measures apply to both provincial Crown and private lands, with fines up to $25,000 for violations.
