SWEPS Receives Provincial Funding for Trail Development

SWEPS has been awarded $30,000 through the Nova Scotia Recreational Trails Expansion Fund to support trail development in the Fall River area. The funding will assist with expanding and upgrading local non-motorized trails as part of SWEPS’ ongoing work to improve public access to natural spaces and protect the Shubenacadie Watershed.

The Trails Expansion Fund supports community groups across the province in building and maintaining recreational trails that promote active living and environmental stewardship.
