The Portobello Bridge and Trail Extension improves public access to the historic Portobello Canal site while extending the Trans Canada Trail through a previously disconnected section in Waverley. Developed through a partnership between SWEPS and the Shubenacadie Canal Commission, this short but significant link supports active transportation and heritage conservation in the region.
